Dealership wants to replace image processing module, I’m not thrilled about this since I have to remove all my tools and shelves so they can get into the walls of the van. Another dealership agreed to program camera. New camera also doesn’t show lines.ĭealership stopped returning phone calls when the new camera wouldn’t work. Dealership replaced oem camera with new one since they figured the camera was defective. Brought to dealership and dealership told me camera was a knockoff since it wouldn’t program, turns out the camera was bought from that dealership. There was no settings.įord then said the camera requires programming. Collision centre got in touch with Ford and Ford told them to change the settings in the menu. note the backup camera is the rear view mirror display type, there is no option to turn on or off parking lines in the settings menu on the dash or radio.Īfter collision old camera still worked with guidelines but pointed at ground.Īfter the collision centre replaced both rear doors the trim pieces came with a new camera. The collision centre and two dealerships are scratching their heads over this. After replacing the guidelines no longer show on the display. Mine was replaced after a rear end collision a couple of months ago. Has anyone had to replace the rear OEM camera and had issues with it?
